We ended our trip early due to the lack of central air and some very uncomfortable beds. The property is relatively clean yet dusty. The patio is very nice but the grill was left rusty and dirty. There is very little outdoor area for dogs to go potty and as it’s stated in other reviews, the property is dangerously close to a very busy and curving road. I would not recommend this property to a friend and is totally inappropriate for pets. On a positive note, the property manager was very nice and helpful. The area lost power for a few hours the 1st night and he was very helpful with communicating with the power company. The photos accurately reflect the size of the property.

Well managed property. We read the reviews before the booking and it fulfilled our need for accommodation, which was proximity to downtown.

If you looking for quite and restful, this is not the place.

Property was just like Pictures. It is however located on a hair pin turn which was scary and noisy. Thank goodness for the chiropractor business where you can turn around. It was pet friendly but not pet safe. Would not recommend pets. Sun was great on porch for am but not afternoons.

This property was great for our Girls Getaway to Highlands. Communication was easy and helpful! Getting in and out was a little tricky (being right on the road and a curve) but we just went to the business on the right beyond the house and looped around to drive into the driveway! Worked out great! The cottage was cozy and cute!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. We wanted a location close to town, with a kitchen, back deck, and was clean. These met our requirements. As people have mentioned, it is close to the highway. Best way to park is to pass the house, go up the road, turn through a business, come back, and park along side the house just prior to the front door. We never had an issue getting out. The traffic did not wake us up, as the bedrooms are on the back side of the house. The doors to the bathroom from 2 bedrooms were a bit cumbersome, but not unmanageable. If you are looking for a place that is "away from it all", this isn't the place. We however found it to meet our needs. We cooked breakfast, and cooked a couple of dinners in.
