Lovely cabin in a great community
5/5 Beautiful, well-equipped cabin in Chinquapin, a fantastic neighborhood near Cashiers, Highlands and Sapphire. House was in great shape, with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Walkable to central amenity in Chinquapin; lots of great trails and things to do in Chinquapin.
Wonderful mountain home
5/5 Lovely place to stay and enjoy nature. The home was equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful time. This is by far the best vacation stay in the area.
Perfect Mountain Stay!
5/5 We had a wonderful vacation once again at this perfect mountain cottage. Situated in an ideal location, it is easy to get to town for groceries and restaurants, but once back up the hill the peace and quiet prevails. There are numerous trails for all abilities without leaving the property, including several with beautiful waterfalls. For those that want to expand their hiking, Panthertown Valley is minutes away on the same road. The house is well equipped with one of the best kitchen small appliance selections I have ever seen. It has a great screen porch and if the weather doesn’t cooperate there are lovely, big windows looking out on the peaceful woods. We had a great, relaxing stay filled with a perfect mix of walks in the woods and book reading. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful new home in nice community
5/5 Can’t say enough good things about this property. Everything seems brand new and very good quality. All the little touches are covered. Basic items are all provided, and everything is easy to use. We loved the community. It’s a quiet, newer high end gated area and includes a lot of amenities if you’re interested. It is a short winding drive from cashiers, but well worth it.

Shelby Chalet was the perfect place to stay. The area was beautiful and the home was well equipped and and exceeded our needs and expectations! Would definitely revisit this home!
