Stunning Mountain Retreat in Glenville, NC: A Perfect Family Escape!
5/5 We recently stayed in this magnificent house in Glenville, NC. It was indeed a wonderful experience. The home sits directly on top of a mountain, providing us with glorious views of both the mountains and the lake. We enjoyed our meals on the deck, watching the sunset and enjoying perfect summer weather.
The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and more. From a great variety of spices for the cook to a perfect coffee machine, they thought of everything. One of the best things was that the kids' room was at the other end of the house from the main bedroom, giving us peace. But everything being on one level makes it super convenient. The main suite was large and very comfortable, with a great bed for relaxing after our day hikes.
In addition, this cabin was centrally located for hikes to must-see spots like Rainbow Falls, Silver Falls, Dry Falls, and Whiteside Mountain. It was also close to Cashiers, with a few pretty lovely shops and a grocery store. The kids and adults enjoyed the table games and playroom. This house was just perfect for our family getaway. I highly recommended!
Family trip
5/5 Had an amazing time. Home has an amazing location with great views and a relatively flat yard. Yard was great for the dogs and kids. King bed was very comfortable. We loved the board games that came with the home. Location was fantastic 10 minutes to cashiers proper and restaurants. Sliding rock and whiteside mountain are 20 minutes and you could be at smoke mountain national park in less than an hour. We will be back!

Great place in Glenville
5/5 the house was much bigger than the pictures show. It is secluded in the forest with nearby homes hidden by the forest so it feels isolated but it is in a neighborhood. The roads in the area are narrow and steep with lots of blind corners. I drove slow and pulled over alot to let the locals around. The house had everything we needed for our stay, even extra batteries when the tv remote died.

We enjoyed sitting on the back porch looking at the beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The welcome basket was such a nice touch! We definitely would stay here again!
