  The house overall is beautiful and was able to meet our family’s needs. Some critiques: The beds weren’t the greatest, but sufficed for the weekend. The downstairs bed frame needs to be tightened as it is very wobbly and squeaky. The shower heads were much too high on the wall for adequate water pressure to rinse thick hair well. We had considered bringing our senior dog with us on our trip, but decided against it, and after getting there, I am glad we did - there is very little space for animals to run or go to the potty. The fire pit area is not conducive of having a family sit around the pit, it is on a decline, rocky dirt. The chairs provided are metal and not suited for sitting around a hot fire, this was a bummer. The house advertises that 12 can sleep, but comfortably, it only accommodates 10 people. Some positives: The kitchen is well stocked. The gas grill worked well. The tvs have the ability to cast to them. Our adult children enjoyed the hot tub (on the second day, it was being repaired when we arrived). They also enjoyed playing pool and foosball. Overall, the home fit our needs for the weekend. The property itself is beautiful and the views were lovely with the fall foliage.

• Wonderful Mountain Stay!

  The four of us enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin! It was beautiful, cozy and well-appointed. The cabin is located within the trees and feels like a tree house with several views of the foothills of the Smokies.

  The cabin was clean and the kitchen had every dish and utensil needed to cook meals. We especially enjoyed the small waterfall just outside the cabin, what a relaxing sound! The fireplace was wonderful and kept things cozy inside as we enjoyed viewing the changing leaves all around the cabin.

  What a fantastic cabin for a relaxing weekend with friends! We look forward to renting here again!

  Overall the house was beautiful and had awesome views. Just needed somegood deep cleaning.Mouse droppings and food in basement couch, dirty sheets with hairs everywhere on the bed in the basement. No sheets on the bed near the kitchen. Sheets were in the dryer and still wet when we arrived to the property. good cleaning thanks!

  We had a wonderful time. The cabin is beautiful and secluded. We loved all the Christmas decor. the complimentary wine and hot chocolate was also very thoughtful. Overall we will definitely be staying here again.

• Private, Peaceful Clean Home in the Mountains

  The home was perfect for us as it was my son's wedding weekend, so we had some relatives all stay together. We didn't have time to make use of the amenities like the hot tub or the gaming tables. We didn't even turn on the TV!We DID enjoy the peacefulness and the down time of chatting with coffee on the porch in the morning and evening as the sun rose and set.The ONLY negative was that there were no screens so we couldn't leave the windows open to enjoy the crisp mountain air. We were assured that there were going to be screens coming, and in that case, we would definitely stay again.
