  • Awesome, relaxing week!

We were in search of a place that would be quiet & relaxing and Heavenly Hideaway definitely fit the bill! Janet is a marvelous host and there were so many unique & thoughtful touches throughout the cabin! And even though the location felt remote (which is not a negative), there were plenty of things to see & do just within 30 minutes or less drive! We took day trips into Asheville, Hendersonville, & Black Mountain and enjoyed the history of the area, spending time in quaint shops, marveling at the beautiful autumn colors, and sampling amazing foods! And a relaxing soak in the hot tub was the perfect way to end each day! Definitely looking forward to coming back again . . . hopefully soon!

  • Overall great experience

We loved heavenly hideaway. The cabin was more than a cabin it was an experience. We loved feeding the cows and picking blueberries. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay. We didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night watching wildlife and the view of the woods. Location is on 15 minutes from Asheville and still remote enough to have the best of both worlds.

The cabin is so charming, well laid out and everything you need! One of the cleanest cabins we have ever stayed in! The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on!! Fireplace with gas logs was a real treat, my husband gets very cold easily and he loved sitting on the hearth in front of the fireplace (so did the dog). Lots of trails and road beds to take the dog for walks. Easy to find, grocery stores close and well as eating establishments. Janet was super nice and made us feel so at home! If we have to be back in the Asheville area for more than a day we will definitely try to get this cabin again!

  • Little piece of heaven

My boyfriend and I chose to stay here for our anniversary trip. It was absolutely perfect! It was right before Valentine’s Day and Janet had the mantle decorated with roses and heart lights which was such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, and utensils which was much appreciated! Janet was very helpful with ideas of what to do and the farm had lots of sights to see and trails to walk. We even got to meet the chickens and collect some fresh eggs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
