Seeking access to North Carolina's limitless outdoor recreation? Or, easy access to attractions like the Biltmore Estate and Looking Glass Falls? Both can be found minutes from this Fletcher 3-bed, 2-bath vacation rental for 6, featuring amenities like a full kitchen, gas fireplace, and a gas grill - perfect for summer night barbecues. Additionally, the property boasts a prime location away from the crowded, tourist spots of Asheville, but close enough that you won't be in the car all day!
Relish in the home's peaceful neighborhood location, which lies just a short walk from restaurants like Blue Sky Cafe and Jonny Mac's Lowcountry Grille & BBQ! Additionally, you'll be minutes from essentials like grocery stores, pharmacies, Fletcher Park, and more.
But the reason you came to Fletcher in the first place - the endless opportunity for outdoor recreation - lies just about 11 miles west of the property. The Nantahala National Forest is home to great hiking, mountain biking, and rafting, along with beautiful waterfalls such as Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock. Prefer sightseeing? Drive north about 12 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a scenic cruise through the forest. Visit during the fall to lay eyes on the foliage's peak color change!
More outdoor fun can be found at Chimney Rock State Park, 33 miles away, and Pisgah National Forest found about 45 miles north. No matter where you spend your day, end it with a cold brew at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., located only 4.5 miles from the property.
If you're a beer connoisseur, you'll definitely want to spend time in Asheville, known for having one of the largest concentrations of microbreweries in the country! Wicked Weed Brewing Pub, The Funkatorium, and New Belgium Brewing Company are just a few of the breweries that call this southern town home. Prefer vino to beer? Enjoy a wine tasting at The Biltmore Estate, which is also home to 6 fine dining restaurants and self-guided tours of the estate. There's plenty more to do in Asheville including concerts at The Orange Peel and visits to the many art galleries!
Hendersonville is another popular town in the area that's equally as close as Asheville. It also offers foodie adventures, along with attractions like Dupont Forest and art galleries.
