  We enjoyed our stay Whiskey Bear. It was easy to get access and near all the events we needed to attend. We were there for a wedding at Sky Retreat and had lots of family staying with 2 miles of our location

  Overall pretty house and property, well furnished with split wood for use in the burn pit. Largest issue was even though air conditioning was listed on the description, it is just a portable unit in the living room. There is not central air conditioning. While this may not have been an issue in the winter, it was not a very comfortable stay in August.

  Yes, it's technically Fleetwood but that doesn't rhyme as well...Loved the cabin...very rustic feel with modern conveniences. Had a total of 6 adults, one teenager and a dog and always had plenty or room with plenty of places to enjoy the quiet. Well stocked...if you aren't a Keurig user the drip maker does leave a little to be desired. Fortunately there is a french press which was well used on the trip. Definitely returning to the area and if available would stay at Whiskey Bear again.

  This cabin has the potential to be so nice. It seems like it is just a rental property that is not kept up. Let me start with the positive. The kitchen was really cute and the fireplace was really pretty. The dining area had a nice long table that everyone could fit around. The basement had games to play and a separate den with tv and gas logs. This area was very dirty. Rugs had not been vacuumed, dead bugs, and was very cold. We tried to plug in the heaters but the fuse kept blowing. The gas logs smelled very strong. The smoke/carbon monoxide detector was not working. We texted the property manager a few times about it. They sent someone out and ALL of the detectors in the house had no or dead batteries. The shower in the upstairs bathroom had the filthiest shower liner I have ever seen. It was black with mold and red stains. I texted the manager but they never came to replace it so we all had to use the downstairs shower. The banister upstairs had mouse pee and droppings that I put my hand in accidentally. We paid a premium price for this cabin and it was not worth it! Very disappointed with this rental.

  - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your stay didn't fully meet your expectations and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
  - When you reached out during your stay to make us aware of your concerns, we promptly responded and sent both the maintenance team and cleaning service back to the property. It was determined that the fireplace was functioning correctly and is important to note had recently been serviced prior to your stay. The carbon monoxide and smoke detectors were also determined to be functioning correctly, however, to put your mind at ease, our maintenance team changed out the batteries.
  - As soon as you brought this to our attention, the cleaning team went to the property to change the curtain liner, we sincerely apologize for the oversight and have followed up with our cleaning team to ensure they pay closer attention to detail so future guests do not share the same experience. 
  - Due to the remote location of our property, critters can be prevalent in the area. We contract with a professional pest control service to ensure our property remains pest-free. However, with the colder weather, critters can sometimes make their way into the home seeking warmth. We will follow up with our pest control service to ensure our home remains pest-free.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
