5/5 Great place to stay - conveniently located close to West Jefferson, with the drive being short up 221. Close to Boone via 421 as well. Beautiful house, quiet location. Host was great, and house had everything we needed!

4/5 We enjoyed our stay Whiskey Bear. It was easy to get access and near all the events we needed to attend. We were there for a wedding at Sky Retreat and had lots of family staying with 2 miles of our location

Family visit
3/5 Overall pretty house and property, well furnished with split wood for use in the burn pit. Largest issue was even though air conditioning was listed on the description, it is just a portable unit in the living room. There is not central air conditioning. While this may not have been an issue in the winter, it was not a very comfortable stay in August.
