We had a good stay at this property. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked, making it easy to cook meals for our whole group. The large dining table was perfect for gathering together and playing card games, and the family living room was a highlight—plenty of seating, a great selection of games, and a real fireplace that made it feel extra cozy. That said, there were a couple of drawbacks. The scented plug-ins were overwhelming when we arrived. I ended up removing them and the smell became more bearable. It's hard to The biggest disappointment was that the hot tub wasn’t working. The property manager did try to get it fixed, but unfortunately, no one was able to come during our stay. Given that this is a key amenity for many guests, it would be great if someone could check that it's in working order before each check-in. Additionally, there was no garbage disposal in the sink, which made cleaning up after meals a bit of a hassle, especially with a large group.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property—just double-check about the hot tub if it’s important to your visit!

Cain is wonderful in a great location and very spacious. Everything was as advertised everything worked. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water. The views from this property are amazing. Fires in the fireplace every night. We did not have any negative issues even though we were snowed in for 2 days we had an amazing time! Be sure to have 4/all wheel during snow season. Newland has a lot to offer as does Roan Mountain. Mikes coffee is really good just a short drive into Newland. Not gonna lie the clown picture in the upstairs bedroom is frightening, I suggest you bring him a red balloon as a peace offering.

Great place to stay. Exactly as described. The only things i can point out was the kitchen was a little sticky on the floor and cabinet drawer handles. The fact we have to take out our own trash it a little weird since we pay for cleaning. And we were in a truck and needed to back into the actual driveway bc the turn was very sharp. But over all i highly recommend.

We had a great time at the cabin. Many local amenities were closed from the hurricane, but we enjoyed just staying in. The hot tub and fire pit were great! Only issues were the grill (probably no propane) and the upstairs tv (could not get fire stick to cooperate). Otherwise, a great place for our family of five to get away for a bit.
