A lovely getaway place
5/5 Loved everything about the place. Very neat and clean. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accomodate everyone. Had a very enjoyable stay there.

Nice little spot
5/5 The property was very nice and clean. We only got to stay one night since we were in town for land of oz. The property is located about 30 mins away so it wasn’t bad at all.

3/5 Outdoor space was great for the grandkids. Beds were not so comfortable. Upstairs is too hot to take naps during the day. Having to remove our own trash is very inconvenient. We’ve never stayed at a place where we had to do this. Why not invest in a bear proof trash can and have the cleaning service remove the trash?

A lovely getaway
5/5 A great place for families to stay. The children played outside enjoying the creek & tunnel slide. There are two fire pits for s’mores. Very enjoyable & relaxing to get away for a few days with the sounds & sights of nature.
The house was clean & fully equipped with linens, towels, kitchenware, including detergent & hand soap.
Only a mile from the Elk River Falls.
We would consider staying here again in the future.

-We apologize for the discomfort you experienced with the beds. We understand that guests have different mattress preferences and have tried to consider that to please as many as possible at the cabin.
-Regarding the upstairs temperature, we mention in the listing that it can get warm and provide suggestions in the Welcome Book on using the provided fans and other methods to moderate the temperature.
-As for trash removal, we explain in the listing that there is no local trash service, so guests need to remove their own trash. Your suggestion about the bear-proof trash can is valuable, and we will consider it for future improvements. We understand the inconvenience and appreciate your patience with our current situation.
