5/5 We were in town for a wedding, so we had friends and family who wanted to stay together. This house was SO perfect for that. Lots of room and being there was just a pleasure. Everyone enjoyed hanging out on the front porch, as well as the many sitting areas in the house. Kitchen was huge and well stocked. The pictures don't do this house justice. There are so many tiny details that make it such a cool and interesting place to be. They preserved so much of the historical nature of the house, all while filling it with modern amenities.
We live 5 hours away and are thinking about coming back for a little family reunion. We were busy with wedding stuff all weekend and only got a peek at the downtown in Elizabeth City but it was just awesome (and also in walking distance). My friend said it reminded her of Charleston, but quieter! Great restaurants and coffee shops really near by. Also, house is in a great historical neighborhood.
Julie managed our reservation and was so attentive. We needed an early check in to make the rehearsal dinner and she took care of it. Even called after check out to make sure we were all good.
A great city, a great company to rent from, but most of all a really special house that we all just adored! It was a great weekend and the house allowed us to really enjoy each other.
To be honest, we were a little concerned about the fact that it didn't have a lot of reviews, but it's new on the market (and in pristine condition)! If you have a chance to book this one, do it!
