Me and my family had the best time together here! It was so comfortable and cozy! Loved having coffee on the front porch in a rocking chair while listening to the creek! There is a library/game room where you can find games and a big comfy chair for reading. There are two living rooms, and a dining room (with a beautifully painted barn-quilt type floor). We loved listening to the music on the speakers throughout the house. The rooms were full of detail and there were many historical accents throughout. In the past, we have stayed in nice places, but the places weren’t really more than a place to stay. This home was an experience in itself! Lots of nature. The host even provided toys for the pups! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting an artsy, historical, natural, and relaxing stay!
From the owner: "Nikki and her family! You were wonderful guests. I am so glad you enjoyed the rockers, library, and the retro surround sound system."
We stayed here for our taekwondo tournament in Asheville. It was a little longer drive than expected, but worth it to us. Everyone felt at home and had a chance to relax. We felt closer to the stars. We saw deer, turkeys, and sheep. We visited the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway and a waterfall. Hiking is there for those that want to. The host is very responsive and caring about her guests.

I normally don't leave reviews but when you have such a great experience you just have to!! First of all the owner (Keturah) was fantastic! We had special needs for our stay and she accommodated them, she was so very nice and genuinely a very helpful person. The house was clean and well taken care of, she has everything you need (except food) stocked in the home. The wildlife around the area was beautiful. We so enjoyed just sitting on the beautiful front porch and just soaking in the peaceful nights! Speaking of nights, we slept so well! So, in close I just wanna say, Thanks to Steele Waters Lodge, we are refreshed and rested!!
From the owner: "I'm very glad you enjoyed the lodge. Thanks for the sweet words!"
