Good Rental Unit, Bad Neighborhood
4/5 The apartment was great; however, the neighborhood not so good, as exemplified on our last night. Beginning about 3AM, a neighbor across the parking lot did not know how to turn off & keep off their car alarm. Then an argument arose w/very loud, angry voices using f___ you & such between people on the ground & a person(s) on a balcony. The anger was so palpable & the voices so loud, I was waiting for shots to be fired. Sure enough, a shot was fired a couple of hours after the argument began. The argument started again after the shot. Police drove thru & spoke w/the person on the 3d floor balcony, but I don’t know what was discussed. In addition to interrupting & preventing sleep, this event was dangerous. Can’t imagine what families w/young children were thinking. Also our bldg had a strong aroma of marijuana most of the time we were staying there. Don’t plan on returning.

Not a great neighborhood
3/5 The apartment is pretty nice, we liked the apartment except for the fact there is no where to sit in the living room except a small futon. We had no issues with checking in and it's actually in a decent location for Charlotte traffic and food/shopping, However the neighborhood it is in was terrible. We didnt have an issue with anyone in particular however all times of the night and morning people drive in with music blaring and reving their engines, cops showing up because of fighting and constantly hearing people hollering....I was working on night shift at a local plant so I got no sleep during the day and the nights i was off it was always loud. Also if you don't like the smell of pot 24/7 you will end up with constant headaches just like we all did. This place has some real potential but it's priced way too high for what it is...
