Peaceful solitude
5/5 Our family of 6 from Texas wanted to spend a few days exploring the Appalachian Mountains after traveling to the area for a wedding. This mountain cabin turned out to be perfect for us. It is situated in the upper elevations of the mountains outside Bryson City. The peaceful quiet atmosphere is worth the 20-30 minute scenic drive up the mountain. The house is well equipped with comfortable accommodations. Each bedroom with bath is on a different floor which provides privacy. We enjoyed bird watching and grilling on the porch, relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, and a warm fire at the touch of a button to take the chill off. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Perfect views, beautiful cabin and great host!
5/5 The cabin is incredibly nice and well situated in the Alaraka Mountains. The views are picturesque and the cabin is perfect! From the hot tub on the back deck to the reading nook on the 2nd floor, this cabin offered everything needed for a relaxing vacation in the Bryson City area. The host has great communication! She sent an email with tons of good info before the trip and even called the night before. Talk about customer service! Thank you for allowing us into your home. I would definitely recommend you stay here!

Polar Express weekend!
5/5 We met our family from TN and had an amazing weekend! The house was so cozy, well stocked, and just so cute. The beds were so comfortable (which automatically deserves 5 stars in my opinion!). Carrie, the owner, called personally the day before our trip to check in with us, and make sure we didn’t have any questions about the home. The drive up to the house is a little intense & takes some time to get to town, but worth it. Beautiful views and a beautiful cabin!! We will definitely book this home again in the future. Thank you for a great weekend!!
