  • Beautiful Cabin

    5/5

I loved the cabin, it was everything that the description said. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. If you have time for a movie or board games there's lots of them. Cabin was very clean. The only thing I didn't like was the narrow steep dirt road it is on. Very steep but it was worth it.

The cabin is really high up in the mountains with beautiful views. Loved it being so quiet and peaceful. We loved the gas fireplace, no firewood to bring in and no clean up. You hardly needed to have the heat on even for the upstairs. That fireplace really warmed up the cabin! Even with the cold weather, I still had my coffee on the porch every morning. I loved it!

The owners were fantastic, helpful with anything we needed! Answered our phone calls or text immediately.

It did get down to 2*. So, if you're looking for some good cold weather, January and probably February is the time to go. Just have 4-wheel drive for those roads.

There's a spacious fenced in area for your four-legged baby. Ours had a blast running around in it, first time she ever saw ice and snow. Just remember their jacket and booties for their paws.

We always take our grandson with us to NC. We have missed the snow every year but this one. He loved the experience of seeing real snow. He loves Scaly Mtn for snow tubing. Had it been warmer, we would've gone gem mining. There are a few mines to go to.

Hope to go back, but probably in the spring or fall. Most places are closed up for the winter, so there isn't a lot to do.

Grandson wanted ice cream, so we had ice cream at Heavenly Fudge (yummy) in Bryson City. But with having our dog-we had to eat it outside. She also had a cup of ice cream. Lol. That was an experience!

Bryson City has a lot of nice shops, friendly folks and pet friendly town.

If you go--you will enjoy your stay!
