We very much enjoyed this stay. Cabin is off the beaten path, cute, with magnificent views; we were comfortable and had everything we needed. There is a grocery store one mile away where we grabbed a few things for breakfast, snacks and a few simple meals. There are also restaurants in Bryson and Cherokee where there is a range of dining options. We found a nice brew pub in Bryson where we enjoyed a meal, craft beer and live music after a day of hiking. We hiked the Deep Creek trails (Mostly Easy) and the Smokemont Loop Trail (Strenuous). Elk viewing at the Oconaluftee visitor center is also a fun experience. There are many outdoor activity opportunities in the area so you can choose what you like and customize your experience.

This cabin in Bryson City was just as described and pictured! Very very clean inside, and made us feel right at home. The mountain sunsets were beautiful from the back deck. One of the neighbors must have a cat, he came and hangout with us on the deck but he was very friendly and made us feel right at home with our cat! The Ingles grocery store was very close and convenient. The drive up the driveway to the cabin is quite steep with a few turns, as expected being in the mountains but next time I will take our truck Vs our Mini Cooper because that car did not like the slow speed incline very much. Other than that I highly recommend this location to anyone! We will definitely be back!

This place is a joke! The pictures are not accurate at all! These pictures look like they were taken 5-10 years ago! The instructions for check in are the keys are on the table and the door is unlocked. When me and my wife get there there is no keys and the guest contact will not answer or return any calls or text. I contacted him several times before finally saying screw it and leaving and got a hotel. Me and my wife did not feel comfortable knowing someone had keys that could have came in during the middle of the night if we locked the doors! Also the place was covered in dust and didn’t smell like it had been cleaned in a long time. The bed linings looked like they came from the goodwill and the bed looked like the floor was more comfortable! The microwave was broken and had a screen door handle screwed to the front of it! And also this is not a cottage it’s a one bed room apartment over someone’s garage… DO NOT STAY HERE! Also the guest contact has yet to respond on giving me any of my money back!
