Tucked away in the woods and wrapped in its own creek, this sweet, homey cottage is wonderfully located for all three area ski slopes. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental lets you spend evenings by the creekside fire, family game nights tucked in your wool socks, and mornings waking to the song of the creek. Head to Boone, Blowing Rock, or Banner Elk for a great mix of shops and restaurants, from fine to fun, or off to the mountains to shred for the day. Just come. You'll see. It’s sweet.

We were at peace the moment we pulled into the driveway. As soon as you get out of the car, you hear nothing but the sounds of the rolling creek that surrounds the house. The wrap around decks provide beauty in every direction. Smores at the fire pit on the creek were enjoyed very night! The inside was clean, quaint, and inviting. Kitchen is small but functional and has everything you need. We loved waking up to the gorgeous fall foliage off the master bedroom balcony every morning. The location was secluded but conveniently only minutes to town and near blowing rock and numerous hikes and waterfalls. We enjoyed sunset at nearby Moses Cone, sunrise at Thunderhill overlook, dinner at Wild Craft Eatery in Boone, hiking to crab orchard falls and Glen Burney Falls, and Grandfather Mtn. is a must see! The list goes on! The host was extremely responsive and friendly. We are already planning to go back next year!
