My husband and I spent Labor Day at Julia's cottage and it was a dream! This home has every modern amenity you need, while also holding onto a perfect rustic charm.
We spent nearly all weekend on the deck, enjoying the morning shade and bird watching to having an extended happy hour while the sun set over the water. While away from the deck, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and taking the short drive to downtown Beaufort to enjoy the farmers market and local bakeries and restaurants. The host was fantastic, allowing us to use the dock to take dips to cool off during sunny afternoons and making sure that every detail was thought of. My husband and I have been blessed to travel many places together, but agreed that this was our favorite vacation we've taken. We can't wait to return to the cottage.
First and foremost, this was the cleanest VRBO vacation home we have stayed in yet! Neat and tidy and every little detail was thought through to make our stay comfortable. Beautifully decorated down to the last details - the kitchen counters match the coasters in the living room which match the shower curtain hangers in the bathroom! Great mattresses, even on the pull out couch. Comfortably fit all four of us. We were even able to do our laundry prior to leaving so coming home was easy too! Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle, but only minutes from food, shopping, and beach access!
And if you don't like any of that, the million dollar sunset views on the back deck are unforgettable!
Great stay and will be staying here again next year!
Really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back next year!
