  In general, I find renting a place to stay comparable to online dating. You show up and it isn’t at all as advertised. Then you figure you just have to make it through and get back home.Well, that’s right ladies, your Prince charming is finally here! I liked this place even before I arrived, because the rate was reasonable and they didn’t hit you over the head with a huge additional fee after you selected it based on the nightly rate. I arrived to find it was exactly as described and photographed. If anything, the photos didn’t capture how spacious and lovely this place really is. Immaculately clean, well decorated, and the hosts treat you like royalty.This is a must stay for anyone looking for a mountain retreat or visiting the area. The only problem is if you came to town planning to go places, you will get here and not want to leave!

• Enchanting Mountain Getaway!

  Our stay at “Firefly Cottage” was so special. Entering the home is like walking into a fairy tale. It is stunning! The decor is beautifully creative and the colors, artistic flair and thoughtful touches made us say “WOW” as soon as we walked in the door. Great care was taken to make sure that everything we could possibly want or need was there to make us feel right at home. The cottage is immaculately clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed several nights of great sleep on the cozy beds and in the mornings we were able to truly relax on the outdoor patio while sipping coffee and watching the butterflies dance over the green grass in the spacious yard. Our little beagle loved it, too! The hosts are amazing and very helpful and communicative. They truly have thought of everything to ensure their guests have an incredible stay. We will definitely be back for another extraordinary visit to the “Firefly Cottage.”

  I find booking a rental property to be much like online dating. It looks good online but when you get there something is usually not quite right. Until you meet this one, that is.

  First of all, the rates and fees are more than reasonable. Second, the photos and description are very accurate - you will get exactly what you see.

  Beyond that, this place is just really clean, super cute, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts are kind and responsive. You will have a great time here. Just be prepared that if you came here thinking you were going to spend most of your time out doing things, you will have a very difficult time leaving. I definitely intend to return!
