  • Great spot in Asheville

Our trip started with a bit of a hiccup as when we arrived at the appointed time the cleaners had not been there. We contacted the property owners and they promptly came over to clean and sent us out with a gift card; it was a nice gesture considering we were ready to relax at the house and wouldn't be able to use the home for another few hours. The house is super cute and the owners made great use out of the space. It is in a great location, really quiet area but also close to Downtown, Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We only used the outside area once as it was raining most of the stay, but it's a great space to eat and hang out. A few suggestions for the owners: - The master bedroom was much hotter than the rest of the house, even with the air on. Consider looking into this. - For people who really like to cook, this could use some upgrades in. utensils, knives, etc. It got the job done though. - Perhaps hang a shelf or two in the master bathroom so there are places for people to put their toiletry bags, brush, etc. Due to the sink being so small there's nowhere for these things to go. - Have a regular (not travel-size) blow dryer in the house. Those of us with hair longer than our ears couldn't get our hair dried. - More places to hang towels in the hallway bath. - Have some kind of instruction/welcome book so that renters know the WiFi info, any quirks with the house, instructions on use of things, places to go, etc. Again, these suggestions did not detract from our stay and we would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home and for the hospitality!

What a darling place! It was totally clean and comfortable. The bed in the guest bedroom was extremely comfortable and I could control the a/c for the room. It’s conveniently located near the highway which for us easy access for all the Asheville and hiking trips we did. Amazing value!

  • Mountain getaway

House was very close to downtown AVL but felt very rural. We enjoyed our short stay and the house was very clean.
