  Listing said a wood burning fireplace. That is why I booked it. We took wood but only gas logs. The yard needs a lot of work. A little glum but we still had a nice time.

We will have it updated to reflect a gas fireplace. The grass can look beige during the winter but will be lush and green in the spring and summer.   The property was very dated. Which is okay,but it was not very clean. Dust everywhere. One of the bathroom sinks stopped up the first night. They did however come the next day and fix it. But whoever came left dog hair and poop on the floor we had to clean up. Don't think I will rent again ☹️

  "We are sorry you had this experience while staying in our home. When we were notified of there being issues with the sink, we contacted our dear friend to fix it, and they do not own a dog. How dog hair and poop got there is a mystery,
  granted, an unwanted mystery! We're sorry you found the cabin to be dated. It was built in 1918, however, we are always looking for ways to improve our home in any way possible and although it isn't super modern, the nightly rate reflects that and is great for anyone wanting to save extra money! We're also sorry if you found a few things to be dirty. We can assure you that the home is cleaned after each visit, but apologize if the reality did not meet your expectations. We thank you for your feedback! We appreciate it as it allows us to make changes where necessary!"

  The cabin was perfect. It was much larger than we were expecting. It was nicely set up for a pleasant stay. Was very clean and the decor had a nice vibe. Not your usual log cabin feel more like a cozy cottage in a beautiful English garden. I couldn't stop taking photos of the beautiful garden. It was close to everything but the setting was quiet and serene. I just wish we'd had more time to actually spend in the property but we had a short stay.but I'd say it was perfect. We would definitely recommend this rental!

  Great place for a little get away. It was myself, husband and my sister. There was enough space to not feel as if crowded. We enjoyed the screened in porch at night and I had my coffee in the morning. Nice to listen to nature....and was surprised to hear a rooster! Everything about our stay ran smoothly except the property had some maintenance scheduled at a very early time in the morning for people on vacation. The owner has thought to have a lot of items in case you forgot to pack them. Cute cabin.

• Great Moutain Cottage Close to Everything!!

  We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house was very cozy and well decorated. The linens smelled clean and the had enough towels for everyone to use. They even had a piano which none of us knew how to play. Would recommend staying there again.
