  • Perfect cabin in a perfect location

    5/5

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. This cabin is wonderfully secluded with amazing views everywhere you look. I was looking for a place to get away from everything and then also go drive some 4x4 trails. Well checkity-check because that's exactly what I was able to do while staying here.

If you're into 4x4 trails then you have to check out Little Wolf Creek road. It's close to the cabin and is well worth the trip. Mission road is also enjoyable for the views and wildlife, but isn't complicated as far as "trails" are concerned, it's just a dirt road. While on Mission road I got up close to a herd of Bighorn sheep, which I then saw about 1/4 mile away from the cabin a few hours later.

Back to the cabin though. Did I mention it was perfect? I would give up all of my possessions, except my dog, to call this cabin my home. My dog loved exploring the property and chasing the rabbit that lives near the propane tank. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you could need during your stay. It was so hard to leave, but I will definitely return at a later date.

Very clean, cozy & welcoming as you walk in the entry way. Great little remote cabin. Fire place definitely kept the house warm & cozy.

  • Very relaxing stay

    5/5

A remote cabin in some beautiful terrain. We enjoyed our stay. The only odd thing was a bunch of moths got in our last night! Maybe keep the windows closed (even though they do have screens on them)? They were excellent at communicating with us and cabin’s kitchen was nicely stocked. Thanks

From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I am delighted that you enjoyed the cabin! Thank you for texting us about the arrival of the month migration. The timing of that is hard to predict. We promptly treated our windows and are glad that the handheld vacuum provided in the cabin helped you manage the situation. I look forward to hosting you again sometime soon."

  • Best of Montana!

    5/5

We loved our stay here, It is perfectly in the middle of nowhere yet close enough to shopping etc

It snowed every day we were there, it was so relaxing to sit by the warm fire an watch it snow, and the hills with snow on are so beautifull

Truly a great place to sit back and enjoy God's Creation!

  • Piece of heaven in the middle of nowhere

    5/5

I'll preface this to say that this location isn't for everyone; if you're one that needs fast food, Walmarts, and other "necessities" of civilization, you probably wouldn't like staying here.Having said that, it was perfect for us! It has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. The views are awesome, with brilliant sunrises and sunsets. There are also pronghorn, deer, and rabbit visits, not to mention the local herd of Angus.Although the cabin is remote, it is only a 3 hour drive to East Glacier, and a few minutes more to Waterton. Plus, it's centrally located to Great Falls, Helena, and Missoula. If you have a 4WD vehicle, there's lots of Forest Service roads to explore, too.If/when we come back to Montana, we'll make sure we rent this cabin again!
