Experience the tranquility of a ranch setting, with breathtaking views of Emigrant Peak and Paradise Valley, but still have every available amenity nearby when you stay at this vacation rental for 2! Nestled along Barney Creek on the historic Poplar Grove Ranch, this newly built cottage boasts huge windows overlooking the ranch, 2 deck spaces and a separate barbecue area, a private bedroom, full kitchen, and full bath with a tile shower. Endless outdoor recreation in Yellowstone country awaits!
While Poplar Grove Ranch is an outdoor oasis itself, you'll have easy access to one-of-a-kind recreational experiences from this scenic retreat. Fantastic fly-fishing awaits on the Yellowstone River just 1.5 miles away, while you'll also find 3 world-class spring creeks - DePuy Spring Creek, Armstrong Spring Creek and Nelson's Spring Creek - within a few miles. Drive just 35-40 minutes to reach the entrance of Yellowstone National Park!
Head to the nearby National Forest and Absaroka Wilderness area for beautiful hiking trails and more, or visit one of the several outfitters close by for a horseback riding adventure. Take a break from the outdoor recreation and pamper yourself with a trip to Chico Hot Springs Resort's hot pools and fine dining at either Chico or Sage Lodge.
If golf is your game, the 9-hole Livingston Golf Club lies just about 12 miles away. Livingston also serves as a great break from the outdoors, as the town hosts casual dining options, art galleries, a movie theater, 2 live-entertainment theaters, microbreweries, eclectic shops, and fly shops for the anglers!
You can also see a show at Music Ranch Montana, or travel 10 miles south to Emigrant and check out The Old Saloon Restaurant with occasional live music. In the winter, there is cross-country skiing available in the National Forest and Yellowstone Park and downhill skiing approximately 30 miles away at Bridger Bowl Ski Area. A drive through Yellowstone Park from the Gardiner entrance to Cooke City is an awesome experience; the best wildlife viewing is at this time!
First time booking a VRBO and the experience was amazing! Would recommend this cabin to anyone! The owners were very nice and helpful and the views were the best part!

This property was clean, at a great location and owners were friendly. We saw nightly sunsets and awesome early sunrises. It's located on a working ranch and a perfect location to many places you'll want to visit including Chico hot springs where you can get a great evening meal. National forest entrance is also on this road which is an amazing drive. The Old Saloon is close by and a must see along with the Wildflour bakery which is next door to the Old Saloon. They have the best pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Yellowstone is a beautiful 45 min or so drive. Many beautiful views along the road this property is on. Definitely will be back!

If you're looking for a cozy little place with a scenic view this is the spot. A cozy little house that made our trip memorable. Even being rural as it was the WiFi was great. 10/10 would stay here again.

This is the perfect place for a couple to explore Paradise Valley, Yellowstone and the surrounding MT area. Fishing, hiking, Livingston, Bozeman all within easy reach. Clean, comfortable, QUIET!, views are spectacular and host is responsive, but lets you enjoy the peace and quiet of their ranch. We plan to be back. DM from SC
