• Needs new cleaner

  Our stay was disappointing from start to finish. While it provided a place to stay, the overall condition of the property was far below expectations.

  The cleanliness was unacceptable. We found toenail clippings, candy, food wrappers, and even Donald Trump stickers left on the walls. There was dust throughout the home, and the air filter was extremely dirty and appeared to have not been changed in a long time. The stove was also dirty upon arrival, with crumbs and debris on the burners before we had ever used it.

  The worst discovery came when something fell behind the couch and we had to move it to retrieve it. Underneath and behind the couch was a large amount of dust, along with more candy and food wrappers, making it clear that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.

  The furniture was also in poor condition. Multiple chairs in the eat-in kitchen area were falling apart when simply being pulled out from under the table. One of the chairs collapsed completely when our 9-year-old nephew sat down, causing him to fall to the ground. We called the contact number provided and were told someone would come out to repair the chairs, but no one ever showed up.

  The hot tub was also unusable because the water level was so low that we were unable to use it during our stay.

  To be fair, the property did provide complimentary shampoo and conditioner samples. However, even that seemed poorly managed, as there were nine shampoo packets available but only one conditioner packet.

  Overall, the property felt more like a hastily flipped house than a well-maintained vacation rental. Between the lack of cleanliness, broken furniture, poor maintenance issues, and lack of follow-through from management, this was not a good experience. We were expecting a clean and safe place to stay and unfortunately did not receive that. Next time, we'll choose a hotel instead.

  Biggest problem—NO HOT TUB! We exclusively rent homes with hot tubs as it is a necessity for our stay—this one did not work and by the looks of it hasn’t for awhile… had the property manager out to look at it, but they found it was “working” because it would turn on…water leaked out and the pump would run for 10 minutes and shut off—never heated to temp so not usable-house was good with adequate appointments and great location to everything—only thing we found upon arrival was no dishes! Figured probably in the dishwasher—opened the door and was knocked over by the smell! Dishes had been left awhile and were covered in mold! We just rewashed and it was fine, but should have been ready to go when we got there. Biggest disappointment 5 days without a hot tub

  The house was beautiful. In a great neighborhood right by the water. The property manager was super helpful and friendly. When we had a minor problem arise, she was quick to resolve it.
