  Cabin was great and all the accommodations you could ask for. The owners were very nice and helpful. I was very dissapointed with the price. I booked online $109 per night(2 nights) after check out it was $165 added for host and service fees. We were instructed to take out trash, strip linens, wash dishes and turn off all appliances. What the crap was left to do? I would not stay again for this price! Total rip off after all these fees were added .

• Quiet Retreat near the Bogue Chitto

  This is my second time staying here, and I would happily come again! The cabin is more than comfortable and the hosts are welcoming. I especially enjoy sitting on the porch with my coffee and simply watching the birds and other wildlife. The river is just a short trek down an easy trail, providing another opportunity to relax and enjoy nature. I hope I am able to return again sometime soon!

• Clear your mind

  We can't say enough about this place...ir was beautiful and relaxing.. exactly what we needed to get back to our peace of mind...I loved the cabin and all the trails around it...so peaceful.. Mr benton was so kind and enjoyed laughing with him and listening to his stories about the history of the property.. 10 out of 10 stars...

• Nice but

  Very nice place, well kept, but we were under the impression that this house was right by the water and it wasn’t. The host were very sweet. We stripped the beds as asked to in the details, and found a pair of underwear under the sheets by the head of the bed. Was not happy about that and we did email the host that morning to let them know and no reply after several hours of waiting for response.

  - The trail to the river is approximately 100 yards and offers a smooth, easy walk. Wild Fern is located just outside the Bogue Chitto River’s flood zone, which is why the cabin is set at this distance from the river.
  - We're sorry for the oversight with the bedding. Our cleaning team strips and washes all bedding after every stay, but it seems a previous guest’s item was missed, hidden in the corner of the fitted sheet. We’re committed to double-checking for any items in the future.
  We've addressed your comments with the relevant teams so that future guests will receive the exceptional service we strive to provide.

• Beautiful cabin

  The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! And it is on the bogue chitto so it peaceful and have plenty of entertainment ability. The bed was super comfy.
