This house was extremely charming and clean. The owner was contacted after an outage shut the power down and made the air conditioner cut off. She can with assistance immediately and reset everything and made sure that everything was running properly and we were comfortable. The place is huge and it feel so much like home.
We needed a last-minute place to stay for a family member who suddenly passed away in Aberdeen, and were thrilled to find this home available at an amazing price in the historic area of the town. The home dates to the 1930s, and has all the character and charm of architecture during that era. I had to explain to my adult son that each room had two doors because there was no air conditioning in 1935, so the architecture ensured air flow. Fortunately, the home has ice-cold AC! Honestly it reminded me of a larger version of my grandmother's home from years ago the moment I walked in. It's spacious, very clean, and the backyard is a great place to sip coffee in the morning and listen to the many many song birds. There are two apple trees in the back as well. The neighborhood is quiet, very walkable (if you get up early enough to avoid the heat index in June), and everyone in the town is so nice. Our host was amazing. We only had a couple of questions, and she answered in seconds of us asking and was AMAZINGLY accommodating. She's a top Vrbo host without a doubt, and I hope we get to stay in this home again. If you go to this home, make sure you walk around the block. Aberdeen is like Amory and was very solidly planned out in residential blocks. This is the influence of the railroad. Aberdeen's town proper is trying to make changes, and I'm hoping the next time we visit more businesses and restaurants are available. It's a sweet little town that deserves to grow and thrive.

I stayed at this location and I had a marvelous experience! The property owners we so accommodating! I requested a microwave and they bought a new one and got it to me in no time at all. The house is breathtaking, it has the feeling of home. Everything was so comfortable from the living room couch to the beds. The front porch is huge and has seating if you'd like to sit outside. Off street parking is also available. This house has it ALL!
We couldn't stay at the property due to strong mildew. We would have asthma issues. I would like a full refund but I'm just getting a run around.
