The cabins are beautifully restored with major attention to detail. It’s the perfect place to escape into nature while still having modern amenities. We were a group of 3 couples and everyone had plenty of space to themselves and although the weather didn’t allow us to hang out in the river much we still had a wonderful time hanging out in the main cabin during the storm and enjoying our time together. The path down to the access point on the river is a bit of a hike but nothing we couldn’t handle and it was lovely to have the entire river to ourselves while we were down there. Don’t hesitate to book this location, it’s everything we hoped for and more!
From the Owner: "Hi Ashley, Thanks for your kind comments. We appreciate your feedback, We’ll arrange for the paths to be maintained."
Bring everything you need and you wont want to leave. Its truly a paradise in the middle of nowhere. A private oasis in the woods on a beatiful river.

We absolutely loved this property!! It was nestled in the woods with easy access and view of the river. Super cute cabin feel but updated and clean. We had an issue leaving the property due to a storm overnight but the property manager, management company and owner were all very responsive, friendly and efficient in solving the problem. We were very impressed with our whole experience and will definitely be back!!

Our family loves riverside locations and the Hazel and Oliver cabins did not disappoint. The lovingly restored cabins on the bank of the Meramac were well furnished and ready for a relaxing stay. The beds were amazing, which is always a good thing!
We enjoying the well stocked supply of games and our kids aged 2-9 loved the kids toys and playing around the property!
We tried our hand a fishing but had no luck this early in the season.
The solo stove was a lovely bonus as we enjoyed several campfires with minimal smoke.
We had a few issues arise but the local contact person was swift to respond and kind.
Bring your own: coffee grinder; ziplocks; s’mores/hotdog sticks for the fire.
We would love to return!
