  When arriving we were greeted with ice covered steps which hadn’t been salted. Very treacherous carrying luggage up two sets of steps. The house was freezing cold and took hours to heat up. The listing said there was a king bedroom, a queen bedroom with a kids bunk bed and a double over double bunk room. However the house had a king bedroom, a queen room with a single daybed, and a kids bunk bed with twin beds. We had 8 adults in our group so we had to put 3 people in the king bed. The mattress in one of the bunks had to be pulled off onto the floor so that it could be slept on by an adult. There is no heat in two of the bedrooms upstairs so it was freezing the first night and we bought a heater for the second night. The kitchen only had two serving spoons, no whisk and limited other items to cook with. Also had no access to a washer and dryer. Other than those downsides the house was beautiful and well kept.

  Easily one of the most well designed, coolest historic buildings I’ve stayed in.They really did an excelllent job with it.

  The house is lovely. Needs some maintenance in the upstairs bathroom shower, and a few batteries replaced for the fans. There is only on street parking available there is no driveway. The house does have a grill which is a great addition.

We want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  - The low pressure is because of the the city of St. Louis but we will compensate this issue by having a plumber install a booster pump. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
  - We were not aware of any issues with batteries that were low, but have had them all replaced.
  - We do not have parking in the rear and do not have a driveway, we only have street parking but it is ample. We apologize about the parking it was listed incorrectly, we have had that corrected.
  
  We are sorry that you left early, please know we truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
