3/5 When arriving we were greeted with ice covered steps which hadn’t been salted. Very treacherous carrying luggage up two sets of steps. The house was freezing cold and took hours to heat up. The listing said there was a king bedroom, a queen bedroom with a kids bunk bed and a double over double bunk room. However the house had a king bedroom, a queen room with a single daybed, and a kids bunk bed with twin beds. We had 8 adults in our group so we had to put 3 people in the king bed. The mattress in one of the bunks had to be pulled off onto the floor so that it could be slept on by an adult. There is no heat in two of the bedrooms upstairs so it was freezing the first night and we bought a heater for the second night. The kitchen only had two serving spoons, no whisk and limited other items to cook with. Also had no access to a washer and dryer. Other than those downsides the house was beautiful and well kept.

- We're sorry the steps were icy upon your arrival; we manage the property remotely and weren’t able to get someone there in time to clear them before check-in.
- The thermostat had not been reset between stays due to a gap in bookings. This was an oversight on our part, and we understand how uncomfortable that must have been.
- We updated the listing after rearranging sleeping arrangements, so it’s possible the platform didn’t reflect the most current version at the time you booked.
- We weren’t aware of missing kitchen items, as they may have been removed by prior guests. We do keep backup supplies on hand and would have gladly restocked them if we had known.
