• Very disappointing

  The house is in a great location and has so much potential but the lack of maintenance and communication with the owner makes me unable to recommend this property. The air conditioning on the lower level of the home did not work the entire duration of our stay. I contacted the owner several times, my last attempt on Saturday afternoon received no response (we rented over Labor Day weekend with Monday morning departure).

  None of the ceiling fans worked. The second floor bath tub was so clogged showers involved standing in 3+ inches of water next to a mildewy shower curtain. Half of the lights are out making it a dark, gloomy home at night. Neither outdoor grill works. The ice maker in the refrigerator doesn't work. The garbage disposal worked some of the time. The outdoor areas didn't look to have been touched in a long time, there is no way to eat outdoors as the listing states as the deck and the two small tables are filthy. Good luck using the garage and getting to the front door meant going through several large cobwebs. So disappointing, won't be renting again.

• Great getaway!

  This property was in a fabulous location in a wonderful neighborhood with great views of the lake and the home was very nice! Only thing was there are several maintenance issues that should be addressed. The ice maker never worked, there's two non working grills on the porch, the trees are overgrown and obstructing the lake view, there are holes in the porch and light bulbs that were out. If these issues were addressed the property would be a ten star! Great kitchen supplies and fancy updated appliances. Beautiful window filled family room and plenty of bed rooms for a large group. The dock was so much fun and it was perfect for our boat with a ramp only a few houses down, very convenient. We will definitely be coming back.

• ENJOYABLE REUNION

  Overall our group had a good experience at this property. There was some disappointment that we couldn't BBQ because it was broken and hadn't been replaced. The ice maker didn't work for the time we were there. This is a beautiful home but there is a lot of deferred maintenance that needs to be taken care of. Tammy did all she could do to make our stay enjoyable.

• Family reunion

  This was a lovely home that met our family’s needs very well. Four siblings and spouses from all over the US gathered for our first reunion in many years! Great views from each side of the home as the lake is on each side. Once we arrived we never left. The kitchen was nice and easy to make meals in. It has all you need. Bedrooms are fine. Bathrooms are very nice! One spouse has a few navigation issues so she really appreciated the master suite step in shower. We even spent sometime down on the dock. Everyone said they would stay there again for the next reunion. Neighbors were nice and offered to help if anything was needed. Check in was easy and the home was ready early-which was great considering the distance of some. I’d recommend this home!

• Great family gathering place

  Our family came together from all over the US to have a reunion at this home. It was very clean and had all the essentials for a great stay! Check in and out was very easy! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with new appliances. The dock was great for some sun time. The neighbor one dock over was catching fish, so that, too, is a possibility. The upper deck could use a little maintenance but the location views on each side of the house are wonderful. Overall this was a great stay for our family.
