    My wife and I had booked a place starting aug. 20-28 but when we arrived it was not close to being acceptable to stay in: dirty, musty smell, mold all over the deck and stairs, broken blinds, etc. supposed to have been a premier host on vrbo. We came from Ohio.

    We decided to rent a jet ski at the getaway and figure it out. Josh is the owner and we started talking about our situation and he said he owns the property right next to the business and people just moved out and the next ones weren't coming until Friday. He offered it to us for what we were paying at the other place but his was remodeled 3 months ago and also right on the lake. He got the cleaning crew in right away and it is a beautiful place. He and Brooke made sure our stay was pleasurable providing any help we asked for: restaurants, renting a pontoon boat even when they were closed, since we rented the house. They are very kind and pleasant to deal with and professional. We highly recommend them, their home and The Getaway for watercraft rental. they were also the cheapest and had new, newer boats.

    Our stay could not have been better. They saved our vacation.

    Our stay was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Trust me these people are friendly nice and very helpful. They have a rental right beside it with boats and skis so your stay has everything close to you. GREAT fishing here in this cove. Quiet and not a very steep or long walk to house. Decking was nice!! Would highly recommend!!! Nice dock for boat or pontoon! Keith

    When they remodeled they thought of it all when it came to maximizing space for your visit.

    When it came to decorating they found every cute touch.

    When it came to making sure you had everything you needed at your convenience they supplied it. Literally all we needed to bring was a swim suit, food, and drinks!

    A brand new deck to enjoy the evening on and boat watch. So close to alot of entertainment but far enough away down a wake free cove to relax.

    Very easy booking, check in, check out.

    We hope to be invited back again to enjoy this piece of heaven! My only regret is that I wish I'd have bought it before they did! ❤️
