• Perfect Home for a Family Vacation

  We were shocked at how large this home was—it is much larger than photos imply. We also really appreciated the layout: 2 large bedrooms in the basement, each with 2 beds and their own bathrooms, and the master suite on the main floor. Taking our kids who range from 7-16, this layout was perfect. Everyone had their own space including us adults! The house was well-kept and had everything we needed. We loved how close it was to the main pool and were also surprised to find a second pool to access in the neighborhood.

  Overall we had a great time and couldn’t have asked for a better property!

• Nice place to relax

  The house was in a nice neighbor, close to the pool, checkin was easy, code to gates was a issue but 2nd day just assessed house by margarita ville, fan in one of bedrooms did not work but other than that perfect was easy

• Perfect House for a Large Family

  We have stayed in the area for the past few years and this is the first house we’ve rented. This year, we brought our kids with us so we needed more space. We LOVED the floor plan of this house, especially that the kids could take the basement and us adults had private space on the main floor. We fit everyone with plenty of room. The location was perfect, too. A quick walk to the closest pool or a short drive to the other pool or Margaritaville resort.

  Contacting the host was easy—she was always quick to reply to my questions. The house itself had everything we needed and was very clean. The only thing I wish I could’ve had was a lake view and laundry access, but definitely not a deal breaker.

  We highly recommend the home for anyone wanting a peaceful stay next to all the happening places! We will be back!

• Upstairs Great, Downstairs Not

  Had we been occupying the upper level of the property only, we would have given an almost 5-star review (mitigating factors being the dirty microwave and air conditioner temp set too high for the hot weather). The upper level is an inviting and pleasant space.

  Unfortunately, the downstairs is the polar opposite with its heavily stained and foul smelling light-colored carpet; cheap and tired-looking furniture; and dark, drab bedspreads. The space felt dirty and was off-putting. Very disappointing!

  Hi Marji, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  -The A/C is set higher between uses for energy efficiency, but guests are welcome to adjust it to their comfort.
  -The microwave is cleaned after every guest, apologize if it was not up to your standards.
  -The upstairs area has been recently renovated with new furniture and flooring, and we appreciate your positive feedback on that space.
  -The downstairs area, including new headboards, bedspreads, shower curtains, and bath mats are all new and do not need to be replaced.
  -While there are a couple of stains on the downstairs carpet, we are taking steps to address them and will continue to make improvements as needed.
