• Terrible customer service

  Our family vacation consisted of myself, my mother, my younger daughter, my older daughter and her family and young children. We arrived to a place that looked like multiple people were currently living in the residence. The upstairs had not been vacuumed, multiple bottles of half used body wash, shampoo, etc.. in every bathroom. Along with this, partially used condiments remained to include a partial stick of butter. When I called the owner I was told that I was being petty and I could just throw the stuff in the trash. The owner did offer to have the cleaning provider come clean the property but it was late and the kids were ready to go to sleep. The owner never apologized, only kept referring to me as being petty. I will attach pictures of findings to include used toothbrush, used toothpaste, etc... The system only allows for eight pictures, however, I can assure you that many more were taken. If the owner would have taken responsibility instead of calling me petty, this could have been resolved more easily. I would give less than one star if the option was available.

  From the owner: Hi Joey, we are sorry that you were not satisfied with our home. We did not call you petty. This is not true, and we don't want our potential guests to believe this. We are very professional and courteous to our guests. We try to rectify any issues that may arise and are available to help when help is accepted.
  
  We offered to have someone out to clean up the few items that were left out. Which should have been put in a private drawer marked "owner," and we're sorry that they were not.
  
  We also offered to have someone pick up shampoo for you, and you declined our offer. When you contacted us, it was to ask for a refund. We offered you a full refund, and you chose to relocate rather than accept our offer to rectify the issues.
  
  We strive with each booking to provide the best, a clean and guest-ready home that is comfortable. Our goal is to make the best possible stay for every guest.

• Sad Condition of Property

  First floor bedroom - NO closet to hang shirts, pants or dresses, did not even have a hanger on the door - had to hang clothes in kitchen - First floor bathroom - no TP holder - TP had to sit on the floor - ANTS - did call & housekeeper, Ginger, brought ant spray & ant killer - she suggested to put drops on counter - where was I to prepare food??? BBQ grill is disgusting - would have taken entire vacation to clean it & still may not have been usable - took trash out & under trash bag empty tobacco canisters & ANTS - my husband cleaned the trash cans - a bottle of margarita mix in back of refrigerator - NOT OURS - picture & description inaccurate - neightbors very close - could hear conversations from the neighbors - had to mirror to get any TV - deck had nails popped up - tripping hazard & damage to bare feet or animal paws - lower level is a mess - glad my grandson did not come - I would not want him sleeping downstairs - NO inside dining table - TV trays - large patio table on deck but table was not usable because table absorbed the heat - so we could not use it to eat or play games - wonder what people do when it rains? Had an overgrown side yard - weeds - totally unusable - WE left early - Overall, NOT a pleasant experience - CANNOT recommend this property - do not rent!

  -Our team personally assisted with directions and walked through the smart TV setup to help get your stay started smoothly.
  -The cleaner responded quickly to the ant issue and treated the area right away—recent rain had increased activity, but we’re staying on top of it.
  -There is indoor seating at the kitchen counter with bar stools, and closet space is available, though we understand it may not have been where you expected.
  -We’ve addressed the raised nails on the deck and double-checked the grill and trash area to ensure they meet our usual standards.

• Good Place To Stay

  Nice place to stay. Would be a great summertime rental, close to Table Rock.

• Quaint cabin

  Overall our stay was good. The rooms and beds were sufficient. The cabin had everything needed for a nice stay. The only drawback were the barking dogs in the neighbor hood and specifically across the street. Also, a couple of dogs got out of their property to bark within feet of us. We also had a family member step in dog doo right as we stepped out of the car to come into the cabin.
