  Our group recently stayed at this property. The home is large and provides plenty of sleeping arrangements, which worked well for our group. The kitchen was a plus and had and a nice washer and dryer. Almost every room has a ceiling fan, which added comfort, and the porch off the dining room was a nice bonus.Unfortunately, the overall condition and cleanliness of the home left much to be desired. The powder room was not cleaned before our arrival, with visible stains on and around the toilet. Throughout the house, the level of cleanliness was disappointing: stained bedsheets, visibly dirty bathroom carpets, and even a pile of dead bugs left on a nightstand in the family room. The towels were old and stained, and basic essentials like hand soap in the powder room were missing. The house feels somewhat outdated and rundown, which added to the impression that it is not being maintained at the level expected for a vacation rental. Some of the layout and amenity issues were also frustrating. A major disappointment was the hot tub. It was advertised as a key feature but was not usable. When mentioned to the property owner he said it was not functional for quite awhile. It should’ve been reported as not operational. In summary, this property has space, but it fell short in cleanliness, upkeep and amenities that were important to our stay. With better attention to housekeeping and clearer communication about amenities like the hot tub, this would be a good place.

  Just needs basic maintenance and more detailed cleaning. The size of the house was perfect for our extended family for the weekend, and was nicely located just outside of Columbia. Basic maintenance: linen closet door needs attached in Jack & Jill bathroom and the toilet in this bathroom does not refill properly, Keurig did not work however host did try to help by bringing over a regular coffee pot that had been in storage, found dirty dishes in the cabinets, hall bathroom door does not latch, a/c on one end of the house did not work though host gave approval for us to lower the thermostat that was set on 74 when we arrived, ceiling fan in back bedroom vibrates when on, bed sheets were old and stained- I’d recommend spending a little money for new sheets and bath towels for when guests are staying. There was a leak that appeared under the kitchen sink, however the host did come over and fix it and cleaned and sanitized everything well from the repair. Overall, we made it work for the weekend just fine, but for a continuing to rent out this house I’d recommend a few of the typical amenities such as new shower soaps, adequate toilet paper, a new sponge, little things that make it feel well prepared for guests.

  - We were not aware that when they had worked on the new water filter system, there was a loose pipe. We are glad you let us know about it, and we got it fixed immediately while you were out for the day.
  - We apologize for the Keurig; we think it might have been left on too long. We're glad we were able to provide you with a replacement.
  - We have never had any complaints about the TV channels; all of the units are smart TVs and fully capable of streaming from all sources.
  - We had to take care of the cleaning ourselves as our original team was not available. They will be sure to take care of the last few items you mentioned, and will be back soon.
  
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  Great place for a staff of baseball coaches to stay at. AC had issues first night we were there and they jumped on it quick to get it back up and running

  Our family gathered from CA, CO, IL, WV, VT, DC, MO, and Mexico City, Mexico here to celebrate the life of a beloved grandfather. The home gave us a wonderful respite before and following our time at a cemetery and gathering with a wider community. We enjoyed everything about the pond - the frogs, tadpoles, blue gills, a quite evasive enormous bass that no one was able to catch, the water snakes, the song bird chorus. It was wonderful - and we are so grateful for a comfortable place to lay our heads.

  We stayed this past weekend to attend my son’s graduation from Mizzou. The house was perfect for our large group. Plenty of space for us to spread out and a nice big back yard for the kids to play. Some even fished in the pond. The a/c wasn’t working when we got there, but Tim had someone over the next morning and the issue was resolved. Also, the hot tub didn’t work, would have been nice to use, but there were plenty of other things to do. Tim was very prompt in answering any questions and addressing our concerns. We would definitely stay here again with a large group.
