• Disappointed Not worth the price

  Be warned Not cleaned not as advertised.

  Cob webs on baseboards and dirty floors

  Crumbs on kitchen table and chairs and floor from previous guests, Coffee maker had a used filter with old coffee grounds in it, and unusable, trash in “laundry area” was full on arrival. Absolutely NO place to unpack, no dressers, or empty areas to store belongings in any rooms. Even the closets were occupied with random things like old lamps and karaoke machines. No door to master bathroom.

  Owners “stuff” in all areas of potential storage for guests. Even the pantry needed cleaned to put our snacks in. If you plan to book prepare to live out of your suitcase !!!!

  Outlet on side of bed in master doesn’t work. No ice maker. (Would assume it’s because the house sits when not rented and it’s a potential water hazard) but still. Hot water tank is small and was warm at best.

  “Deck toys” life jackets, kayaks, Lilly pad are unusable. Covered in spiderwebs and probably dry rotted from not being used. Due to the state of those items we didn’t want to risk the safety of the kayaks and Lilly pad. The fact the kayaks and life jackets were infested literally ruined one of our planned activities.

  We rented this property only because our friends we were visiting were staying in the RV park 2 minutes away. If our trip didn’t revolve around them we would have stayed at a cheap hotel on the other side of the lake for 1/4 of the price and been way more comfortable. The house is priced at a 5star price and is a 2 at best, if the property was cheaper than surrounding properties I would have turned a blind eye to most complaints listed. On the other side of the lake there are beautiful condos with beautiful views and all the amenities you could ask for 400$-600$ less.

  Surprised there hasn’t been more negative reviews of this house. While everything basic was provided it definitely lacked in areas. The kitchen wasn’t well stocked, water line to the fridge didn’t work, wasps around the house and didn’t look like they treated for bugs, cluttered outside with materials like a broken shovel. The lifejackets on the dock were not kept in a storage container so were very dirty. The cleaning fee is $200 which cannot possibly be what the cleaner is charging so I feel like we are just getting price gauged. This feels like a house the owners turned for a quick profit by the lack of craftsmanship displayed throughout.

  -An early check-in was requested, which we couldn't accommodate due to the need for adequate cleaning time after the previous guest's departure.
  -The kitchen is stocked with essential items including pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cups, seasonings, and condiments. We'd love to know how we can make this better for future guests, so please let us know.
  -Outdoor materials like a shovel, rake, and extra decking are stored under the deck for maintenance needs, which is common for lake houses.
  -Lifejackets are available on the dock for guest use, though we recommend bringing personal lifejackets if preferred.
  -The cleaning fee reflects the actual cost charged by the professional cleaning service, which is comparable to similar properties in the area.

• Was a great week at the lake as usual!

  House was nice and clean, not may items for cooking big meals but we survived. The driveway was very steep but we made it work. The steps to the dock were steep as well. Also all trash has to be taken with you, I do not recall seeing that in the listing. Overall a good week just letting others know the things I did not.
