  Check in was flawless. The owners live on site in the house next door. Beware of the driveway- it’s scary but you have to be confident going down/up. It was good for what it was for us. There were a few bumps along the way. A little cramped, the bathroom is tiny and the bed is rough on the back. Our one dog enjoyed her time swimming, couldn’t keep her out of the water. The Lilly pad was a nice touch once we figured out how to use it. The upper deck gives beautiful views and is a nice sunning/sitting area. The dock we mainly used at night for catfishing- took the owners recommendations and used diced chicken breast, cherry kool-aid and garlic…works like a charm.

  – The driveway was paved with concrete last year, where it used to be gravel, to make it easier for guests to navigate.
  – While the size of the bathroom can’t be changed, it’s shown in our listing photos along with the studio’s square footage so guests have an accurate idea of the space.
  – The mattress was purchased new last year, though we understand that comfort preferences can be quite subjective.

  We loved our stay. It was very relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and swimming off the boat dock. We also got in a little fishing. We would recommend this property for your vacation

• Lakeside View

  While my clients were able to relax, there were definitely a few concerns. Apparently the marina is shut down and there’s only a bar. They had to drive up to 30 mins to Warsaw, just to actually get in the water. Because the property is sitting on the water, you would expect/want to be able to get in the water and do activities. It also would have been very helpful to have that noted on the information when booking, which it wasn’t and that was disappointing. All in all, it was an okay time, but there was so much room for improvement.

  - The home is located in a quieter part of Lake of the Ozarks, which many guests specifically choose for a peaceful, less crowded experience.
  - While the nearby marina may have been closed, we’ll review our listing details to ensure amenities and local access points are clearly noted for future guests.

• Nice spot for a quiet getaway

  Nice place overall. Beautiful location on Lake of the Ozarks. We took our dog and had access to a boat slip too. Owners were very communicative and the description on line was exactly what we got.
