Perfect 4th of July 2024
5/5 The pictures of the property where very accurate. We stayed in the cabin over the long weekend. The AC works great and made the cabin very comfortable. The loft bed was very comfortable with a wall fan providing great air flow. The kitchem was perfect with everything we need to cook breakfast and dinner. There was a shared propane grill on the house deck which was about 20 ft out the door. Very comfortable outdoor seating outside the cabin and on the upper deck around the house. Plenty of off road parking. The town is very small but 2 bar/ grills within a few hundred ft walk. Very safe surroundings. And if your there for the Katy Trail, the trail head is across the street. Really a perfect getway.

Ruebling Cabin
5/5 We had a wonderful stay. Very cute cabin with a comfortable porch for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Close to walking trails and wineries.

Cozy cabin
5/5 It was a great property for two people to stay and have a weekend of relaxation and fun… Visited several of the wineries and went to the vintage and antique market a few miles away… Would definitely think about staying there again.

Spring Break Getaway
4/5 We had a very nice getaway for Spring Break at this cabin. Katy Trail access is across the street and we lucked into a few days of warm weather to enjoy it. Very glad that we brought our bikes. Many of the local businesses were closed for the season so I would recommend traveling here Wednesday to Sunday. We were there Monday to Thursday and found the town pretty dead in off season. We were able to find some great spots - Defiance Ridge Vineyards, the Sunflower Farm Cafe, and Chandler Hill Winery to eat and drink and provided wonderful experiences.
This cabin was good. The decor was cute and loved the modern farmhouse touches. The best part was the bathroom shower! The water pressure and warmth was perfect. Our 2 daughters slept in the loft and we slept downstairs. The temperature difference between both was extreme. Very hot upstairs while freezing downstairs. I would recommend bringing a space heater or extra blankets if visiting in cooler months.
My husband did have to work a few days from the cabin. Plenty of outlets and WiFi was decent. Just wished there was a more dedicated space as a desk so we could use the dining room table.
All-in-all, it was a nice getaway. We explored, we played games, and spent some time soaking up some sun on the front porch.
