As I reflect on my time at the Lindbergh property, I know this will be a memorable Christmas that my family will talk about for years to come.
We are a positive group, and were very happy to be able to gather together. We generally make the best of a situation, however we also have standards and strongly feel that the images provided in the listing do not adequately set expectations - from general conditions, to safety and health.
After arriving and sending a few images of pre-existing damage, I noticed a consistent trend of everything feeling half-finished - holes in walls, patchy paint jobs, nails and screws poking out of walls, missing window treatments, missing furniture, amongst other concerns.
The fire extinguishers either are missing their inspection records or expired. There are completely missing fire alarms in the living room and pool area.
On top of these aesthetic concerns and life/safety hazards, while preparing breakfast the first morning mouse droppings were found inside the silverware tray. They were also within every drawer. These were reported in another review, posted December 17. Our stay was Dec 23-28.
While cleaning the drawers and their contents, a dead mouse and nest was located. Guest Contact was notified and someone arrived promptly to dispose of it. There is a dilapidated trailer 15’ from the back door where many more mice are likely living.
We had a habitable place to stay, but I feel like I got invited to stay at my friend’s divorced uncles house. Not where I would expect to spend our spending hard earned money on.
Pictures are exactly what you get. However the cleaning is horrible. Dirty wash clothes, urine stained toilets. We found soiled men’s underwear blatantly in the middle of the restroom floor. Rat pellets in the kitchen drawers. Dust everywhere! Owners didn’t respond to any of our complaints. Vrbo should take this down until host can show updates and cleaning.

Good location. Exactly what we needed to stay and hunt in the area. There were 11 guys and 3 girls to hunt for 10 days. Plenty of space and beds to accommodate. We had a few issues that the host resolved very quickly. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans and a good cleaning in the drawers this time of year. Overall we were very happy with the accessibility and space. We would return.

Property is well worth the money we paid. Family friendly Probably the only thing I could say was that there wasn’t a trash can in the kitchen

Stayed here with 6 people for a Mizzou football game. Was definitely a different retro-feeling space, eclectic with the attached buildings but worked for what we needed it to. Had a little communication mishap with the cleaning person and our early arrival, but the host Tim was easy to & quick to communicate. Distance didn't feel far from Mizzou where we drove mostly, located very close off the highway. We enjoyed going to Artichoke Annie's during our stay. Outdated and some bedrooms/bathrooms need some replacements/maintenance but like I said, worked with what we needed for a football weekend with a bigger group.
