  Wonderful place for our weekend visit. Very roomy and comfortable- it had everything our group needed except for extended hot water in showers. The community building with additional (nice and clean!) showers was appreciated and needed. We plan to book this place again next year!

• Beautiful setting, a couple issues but prompt response

  Last minute booking to attend a family funeral. Inside was as represented though a little smaller than pictures indicate. Quality also a little more rustic but charming. Great for kids who loved the lofts and access to lake with pontoon, paddle boat and kayaks. Good fishing as well. Low water pressure and no hot water due to unanticipated problems but we made do with heating water for kitchen use and was given prompt response with access to other cabins for showering. Would recommend prep checklist include these items as well as making sure deck is free of bird poop, outside grill works, second floor bathroom vanity light works and there is salt in the kitchen. Beds were comfy. Linens great. Appliances good. With a few tweaks the rustic charm and beautiful setting make it wonderful. In spite of problems because of great response and beautiful setting which was appreciated at a time of sorrow we would return and recommend.

  - To accommodate your early check-in request, some last-minute quality checks were adjusted, which unfortunately led to a few items being missed, such as bird droppings on the deck. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding.
  - The low water pressure issue was unexpected, especially after a recent plumbing service. We immediately sent someone to investigate and ensure it wouldn’t affect future guests.
  - We were also surprised by the hot water issue and, since it couldn’t be resolved right away, offered nearby cabins for shower access. We appreciate your willingness to work around this challenge to keep your family together.
  
  Thank you again for your patience and understanding, and for recognizing the team’s quick response efforts. We’re glad that, even with a few hiccups, your family found the experience worthwhile. We look forward to the chance to welcome you back for a smoother stay in the future.
