We were a group of 7 quilters from Arkansas visiting for MSQC Birthday Bash. When we were not at MSQC we had our sewing machines and sewed all day.
We enjoyed the dorm like setting and everyone felt the beds were extremely comfortable.
The kitchen could be a bit more user friendly with adult height counter tops, or by putting risers under the work table.
The cafeteria tables were interesting but a couple of mixed matched tables and chairs wiuld of been more comfortable and easier to access. Overall we would recommend this place. I also encourage the owners to invest in a couple more of these and advertise as a quilt retreat.
to invest in a couple more

My coworkers and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the lodge owned by Greg and Debbie Cox, and I must say that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts whose graciousness extended far beyond the usual transactional interactions.
It was evident that Greg and Debbie genuinely cared about us and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel at home, and their genuine concern for our well-being was truly touching.
What stood out the most during our stay was the impact of their Christian values and beliefs on all of us. Through their actions and words, they were able to offer guidance and support that ended up positively impacting the lives of myself, and many of my colleagues at the lodge. Their compassion and willingness to help without judgment were truly inspiring.
Despite the challenges posed by our work and the muddy conditions we often found ourselves in, Greg and Debbie never once made us feel unwelcome. They were understanding and patient, always treating us with kindness and compassion.
I left the lodge with a sense of gratitude and a deep appreciation for the Cox's hospitality. I would love to return one day, not for work but simply to visit and reconnect with such wonderful hosts. Thank you, Greg and Debbie, for an unforgettable stay.
