    Great getaway. The only thing i would want people to know stairs are wicked for us 60 year olds but i would stay again but one that has fewer stairs.

  • Nice, quiet little place to stay near Silver Dollar City

    We stayed 5 nights here. Condo is very clean, but there is a smell of cigarette smoke as is mentioned in some other reviews. That was not a deal-breaker for us - I brought along an essential oil diffuser to help with that issue. Apparently this is a ventilation problem with an adjacent unit, which is unfortunate because it’s obvious that this particular condo is a well-kept non-smoking unit. Plenty of kitchen items available for use, nice balcony overlooking a wooded area, very quiet neighborhood. This unit is maybe 2 miles from SDC, so it’s a great spot if that’s on your itinerary. Owner is very friendly, responsive and obviously aiming to make each guest’s stay as nice as possible. There are 2-3 flights of steps to get to this lower unit, which might be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Wish it hadn’t been so unexpectedly cold that week because we had limited opportunity to use that nice balcony furniture!

  • Nice condo!

    We stayed for 3 days and this condo was just as described. We prefer to stay at Notch Estates because it's close to SDC. The condo was clean and the bed were comfortable.

  • Stairs, stairs, stairs

    We (and others) booked this property due to "no stairs" being advertised on 4 travel websites. Three treacherous flights of stairs (2 of which do not have handrails on each side) are required to enter this property. Not acceptable! We were livid upon arrival and the host sent us a screenshot of Evolve property information saying stairs were required for entry. We had never received this information with our booking! By 6 pm that evening, the "no stairs" had been removed from all 4 of those travel websites. It was 30 degrees when we arrived and no blankets were on the beds. All of the towels were hung soaking wet on the hooks. There were no wash cloths or hand towels. The kitchen had no dish cloths, scrubbers, skillets, or spatulas. The walk-in shower had no water pressure and was constantly dripping...so much so that the floor was soaking wet the next morning. The host said he would send maintenance but that never happened. The shower door would not close because the shower door was off the track. I noticed this was a problem in September 2023 reviews. This host does not care and seems to believe more in decoration than accommodation! There were also blood stains on the towels and pubic hairs in the shower when we arrived. Disgusting!

I take cleanliness and guest satisfaction very seriously, and I understand how unsettling it must have been. This falls far below the standards we strive to uphold, we offered to send the cleaning team back to the property to address your concerns, but you politely declined the offer. I will be addressing this matter with our cleaning team to ensure that such oversights are not repeated.
    - Additionally, I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the shower door, water pressure, and the lack of essential items in the kitchen. Rest assured, I will personally oversee these matters and take the necessary steps to rectify them promptly.
    - Regarding the misunderstanding about the stairs, I apologize if there was any confusion. We do indicate in the listing that stairs are required for entry and provide this information in multiple locations for clarity. However, I understand that this may have been overlooked, and I apologize for any inconvenience this caused.
    - Once again, I apologize for the negative experience you had during your stay. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will use it to improve our services and ensure that future guests do not encounter similar issues.
