• So much room and beautiful

  Staying at the beautifully decorated home was such a joy for our travel party. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms had basic toiletries, kitchen well stocked with dishes, and supplies for keeping the home clean were provided. This condo/home is located at the tippy top of the ridge. You could look over the other homes below. The drive up is fun but challenged the stomachs of a few of my friends. Located not far from Branson, very close to Silver Dollar City, and Branson West has a convenient Walmart and Walgreens. Highly recommend!

  This condo/home is located at the tippy top of the ridge. You could look over the other homes below. The drive up is fun but challenged the stomachs of a few of my friends.

  Located not far from Branson, very close to Silver Dollar City, and Branson West has a convenient Walmart and Walgreens.

  I booked this duplex for a weekend trip for 9 people.When we arrived at the guard house (as instructed for check in) we were sent elsewhere to check in. The guard had obviously repeated these instructions for quite some time but Evolve hasn’t updated their check in procedure through email or VRBO. This was fine but an extra 10-20 minutes I wasn’t expecting. However, it’s a gated community and it offers an extra sense of security, so I still assumed our money was well spent. When we entered the rental, we were impressed with the layout and the square footage. The screened in porches were very cool, but we were less than impressed with the stains on the carpet in the living room and the paint patches randomly through the house that didn’t match the base paint. Be careful if you try to sit in the reclining chair in upstairs living room, it is very broken. Still, the place was nice and I thought that it’s probably in between carpet shampooing and repainting and I remained positive. That night we bought some pizzas to make in the oven and found the first thing that was gross, the pots and pans that had been put away in the cabinets were filthy. They still had food on them, not a couple of pans either, a lot of them. Baking sheets still had cheese and dough stuck to them, skillets had egg still stuck to the bottom, it was nasty and made me think of roaches and mice, but I didn’t see any. Ok, we’re here, we have elderly people with us, we’ll wash the dishes and not complain.Next day, get back from SDC and my wife wants to use the jacuzzi tub after all the walking. She fills it up, turns it on and mold/mildew starts coming from the jets, black chunks of it. We guess it’s not been cleaned in quite some time, so she cleaned if for them, you’re welcome. It took 4 cycles before the chucks and residue stopped appearing. That night the kids in the group found a windows sill covered in dozens of flying ants and more than half were dead. I hope they didn’t recently have the place sprayed or fumigated and still let us rent it. There were other complaints from the group were about the poor shower heads and water pressure, that some of the bed sheets felt gritty or dirty, some towels smelled like they were left in the washer too long. Not sure if Evolve or the owner sets the cleaning fee for this place, but the $$$in cleaning fees for two days and I’m not sure they do much but wipe down the counters and make the beds, what a joke! I'll get a hotel next time

  Hi Frank, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: “Thank you very much for your feedback, our goal is always to improve and make changes when needed. We became aware of these issues in October when we visited the property. The stains on the carpet have been removed. The broken chair was discarded and a new chair was purchased and placed in the living room. All the dishes were hand-washed and neatly placed in the cabinets. The shower heads were all replaced also. The property manager has been contacted with our concerns and has assured us that the cleaning will be done properly in the future. Once again, thank you for bringing this to our attention.”

  Nice condo

  Carpet is atrocious, so stained. Needs to be replaced with flooring. No hairdryer in one bath as listed. Called report issues, still waiting for return call. Light bulbs out.

  Would be helpful to have a list inside unit with description of how to use TVs streaming instead of wasting an hour of my time to figure it out. Or to tell where the dumpsters are located instead of hunting down the appropriate ones. Simple little things.
