Good value
4/5 I booked this place based on the price and the decent photos. For the price it was pretty good. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and the owner was extremely nice and helpful. No regrets booking it.
That said, a couple of notes that make it clear why it was a lower price:
1. It’s a basement apartment with low ceilings. At 6’7” I could not stand up straight in the kitchen. If you’re over 6’3”, you should be aware.
2. When it rains, the entryway has a puddle just outside the door. There was about an inch of water waiting to soak your feet.
3. The gate in back was in disrepair, making opening it a little bit tricky.
That all said, I still recommend this as a good value. To add to it, the owner found my new ear buds that dropped from my bag and is making sure I get them back. I will likely use this place again when visiting the Twin Cities.
