Great cabin on a good lake. Caught a few fish off the dock. Bummed there wasn't the hammock like the picture, but all the other outdoor furniture was great to have. Cabin met our needs just fine. Loved the sun room! Definitely if you stay in the area, you've got a check out the Swap Meet. So much fun!

It was what we were after, quiet with a great view!

Beautiful spot on the lake, and the cabin was comfortable and relatively secluded. The water had too much algae for swimming but the kayaks were great (though one of the paddles was broken, and best to bring your own PFDs). The kitchen had everything we needed. Had a great, relaxing stay.

This is a great getaway. The house sits on the point of a peninsula with beautiful lake views from the deck or lounging room. Lake Augusta is a beautiful spot, great for paddle boarding or kayaks. The boating isn’t heavy and the wind does have much effect. The cabin is beautiful with a touch of rustic and comforting. Definitely recommend.

We really Can't say enough "Good&Great" about this place & the people who "developed&shared it"--so "our time there" could happen! We had such an amazingly "welcomed"&enjoyable time throughout a VERY Special Family Memory Time!
Life-vested (grand)kiddos could "catch sunnies off dock"! 1 BIG bullhead was "BIG HIT"in the evening--PRIZED by the 5&10yr old (Chris said sometimes even aWalleye around:) )--w/photos to prove "their teamwork":) in "catching&landing" by themselves!(us close though!)Sugar Sand beach for digging!; "Allegheny chairs to 'sit&lakewatch' " & "firepit" lakeside for "scout-made fire&s'mores"; lush shade&sun lawn for outdoor games&"running"! Paddle-boards&kayaks for fun--mom,dad&kids all went lake-exploring! (spectacular sunrise&set "rides" w/'em too!)
When mealtime using our things for "home-made meals", kitchen had been stocked amply&thoughtfully--"extras" as well as essential linens, etc--see site list:) --as whole home was. BIG FrenchDoor Frig for "enough'+' " food!! Brkfst&snack bar handy for "quick-meals". Lgr dining table in spacious&gorgeously scenic-surround-glass 4-season porch was "pretty&peaceful"- whatever we needed it for:).(Rainy days especially nice i'd bet--but we enjoyed some "calming down times" w/fun&classic board games:))
We slept soooo well & comfy on the GREAT-for-us:) mattresses-in "AC comfort" on very hot&muggy nights (but the woodstove would also be great in Fall/Wntr/Sprng too!!) Loved the leather-type comfy&overstuffed chairs &couch--comfortable yet easy-clean for lakeside "adventurous kiddos"--and adults:)--&all who stay there all year!:)
The outdoor "toplevel deck" had option of umbrella-shaded tabletop for "anytime/closeby/outside"--which we Loved too!!:) Other patio "below" had comfy cushion chairs for relaxing while somebody supervised by-dock the"life-vested kiddos" reeling in the sunnies! Lots:)!& BIGBullhead in evening--PRIZED by 5&10yr olds!&-place is "on tip of peninsula"-so nice & privatetoo:)!
We couldn't be more thankful &grateful to Guest Host Chris who had things so Very organized, helpful, prompt as could be, & clarifying, when we had some questions & whenever we needed info or help. His patience with our "1st time learnings" was more than admirable!:) & we need always to acknowledge, too, that the home was so clean with "welcoming touches" when we came, so thankyou also to the cleaner who contributed that t'help our stay go so well and enjoyably!
Thankyou again&again!pat,mike&family
