We booked a 3 night stay at this location. It was our 3rd time here. We have really enjoyed staying here until the last visit. On our last night there we got a rude call from the owner of the property. She had rudely asked us if we were riding our 4wheelers on the property mind you the listing says atv trails onsite. I told her that we rode the trails quick and she then stated that they didn't want anyone on the trails and that they had people there for memorial and they told them they weren't allowed to go on the trails. I kindly told her that no one ever mentioned that to us and she then made a snark comment about common sense if the trails are went people shouldn't be tearing them up. Ummm what? Commons sense? We didn't tear anything up we rode the trails at 10 mph. She then went to say that they have been hearing our wheelers. We left the property many times to go to the footloose ATV trails. I just think the call rude and uncalled for. Common sense would have been to leave a note at the cabin asking not to use the trails if they were to wet not call me at 9pm at night almost yelling at us. Kinda ruined the vibe for our last night there.

Loved the solitude and all the sounds of nature and all the walking trails. Little cottage was very clean. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a few days just to relax and reflect.

This is a very nice place to stay and the owner Debbie is very hospitable and keeps the place very clean.
Great place to stay and get away from it all, nice little house quiet setting close to spider lake trails.
