Our family of 8 adults, 1 child and 1 dog stayed here for 5 nights. The cabin was comfortable and had all the essentials we needed. We were all able to gather around the large dining room table for shared meals. The washer and dryer were great for wet swim suites and towels at the end of the day. The owner was very accommodating with our boat and jet skis and gave us plenty of communication through text and in person. The beach is sandy and the water is clear.
A few things we didn’t realize from the listing:
#1 It’s a very large stone staircase/hill to get down and then a walk through the lawn and woods to get to the lake and dock (there is a sandy trail). We ranged in age from 2-66 years. My mom and sister who has really bad arthritis were so sore from walking the steps. They would often take a break at the half way point where the fire pit area was to catch their breath and rest. You definitely don’t want to forget to use the bathroom or grab anything you may need down by the water because it’s a hike back up those steps! It would have been so helpful to rent an ATV or golf cart if we had known. Carring down 5 gallon gas containers to fill up the jet skis and boat was a big chore!
#2 The owner is directly next to you with a shared deck. There are no curtains for privacy in the dining or living room of rental cabin on the shared side of the cabins. While we understood their cabin was onsite and they would likely be there we didn’t realize it was a few steps away.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and closeness to Crosslake for groceries and things we forgot.
Nice house, plenty of beds. Enjoyed sitting on the deck. Easy drive to groceries and restaurants. Plenty of places to eat and get there by water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this home. Check in was easy; owners were responsive and the photos represent the property accurately.
The property worked out great for my family while attending a wedding. Easy instructions & accessibility since we were all arriving at different times.
