• Lovely Place, Fees are Ridiculous

  Cabin is lovely & in a great location. The fees were almost as much as the stay, which included a cleaning fee, yet we still had to wash & put away our dishes, strip the beds, take out the trash & the towels smelled musty.

  We are glad you chose the home and we are sorry your stay was not what you expected. We strive to be transparent with our guests at every stage of the booking process and do break down all rates and fees before the reservation is confirmed and the fees are never a surprise if you choose to book. As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like removing their own trash, as part of checkout. The cleaning fee goes to a professional service that sanitizes and prepares the home for each new guest. The cleaners take pride in making sure that the home is cleaned and the towels are fresh upon your arrival. If you had concerns about the cleanliness, bringing it to our attention would have helped resolve the issue.
  We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback.

  This cabin is adorable! I loved everything about it. Beautiful view with all the comforts of home. I enjoyed the use of the hot tub, fire pit, kayaks and bikes. It has a beautiful dock and a small sand beach area with lounge chairs. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. This cute cabin has it all!

• Cozy lake cottage

  Over all the stay was enjoyable only complaints no water pressure and bad smell cause the septic was not working right. Hot tub was very dirty.

  Hi Jeremy, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize if you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We were surprised to read your review as neither we nor the cleaning team detected any odors either before or after your stay. The home was deep cleaned before your stay so there should not have been any bad odors in the home. That being said, we apologize for your experience and will look into what may have caused it.
  - We have never experienced problems with bad odors. This cottage is located in a lake community so neighboring smells may have affected the air. Based on your feedback, we had the septic/plumbing company come out and pump the septic and check everything over. They confirmed that everything was fine and there were no issues.
  - Our management company ensures all amenities are working before every guest's arrival and the hot tub is serviced weekly. We are sorry to hear you had some concerns with the hot tub.
  - We do understand that these amenities play a large role when guests book a property. When notified, we immediately sent our hot tub maintenance company out to ensure you could enjoy the amenity for the rest of your stay.
  - While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we are happy to report that no issues were reported by the guests who stayed the following weekend.

  Huge thanks to the owners for sharing their property with us to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We went sun - Thursday so even the neighbors were gone and we had quiet evenings in the hot tube when it was chilly. We kayaked and fished when it was warm. Great Lake with a great sandbar. Appreciated the bikes and bean bag toss. We would love to come back sometime! Property manager was Uber responsive which was nice! Thanks so much!

• Great little weekend getaway

  The cabin was nice and clean and was perfectly situated on the lake. The beach was nice and they even had things to use outside. Would definitely recommend and even come back if the opportunity presents itself.
