'Freeman's Lodge' is situated merely steps away from the Seventh Crow Wing Lake of the majestic Crow Wing Chain. With a private 24-foot dock as part of your vacation rental property, you can easily enjoy afternoons on the water with your boat or take out the provided kayaks and paddleboat.

Head into the town of Nevis, less than 4 miles away, for a delicious dinner at Iron Horse Bar & Grill or sip a happy hour drink on the patio of Bullwinkle's! The charming small towns of Dorest and Park Rapids are both under 20-minute drives, where you can choose from more local eateries, excellent shops, and recreational activities.

The chalet is surrounded by a handful of fabulous golf courses, including Eagles View and Bears Den. Visit the neighboring Sixth Crow Wing and Eighth Crow Wing lakes for more sunny, lakeside days. Hop on the Heartland State Trail that runs between Park Rapids, Dorest, and Nevis for a fun biking, rollerblading, or snowmobiling adventure!

  • Lovely cabin, easy stay

    Everything was easy and nice. The cabin layout, beds, kitchen, bedding, location were all nice and comfortable. There were many outdoor games available for use, the hot tub made for a nice soak on cooler days at the lake. Level lot down to the lake made it easy to access. Kayakes were used frequently. Peaceful lake overall. Fishing wasn't the best, but we had a blast on the lake enjoying tubing and use of lily pad. Nearby towns had lots of fun shopping, restaurant and activities for the family. We even got over to the ropes course in Park Rapids on a cooler day, very neat place!Overall, great cabin, would recommend. Thanks for letting us enjoy the place for a week.

    This is my second time staying at this property and we absolutely loved it! Lots of beds to comfortably fit many guests and everything is so cute and decorated. We also appreciated that it comes with just about everything you could need for cooking and outdoor fun. The lake is gorgeous and the hot tub is a highlight!

    Our second time staying at this property and it again was lovely! Very clean, all the things you would need for a comfortable stay and loved the hot tub, fire pit and beautiful dock with lake access! We love this place and will definitely stay again! Communication with the hosts is seamless and they are always available and willing to help with any needs!
