  It was not a pleasant stay. AC did not work and it was hot, couches were uncomfortable to sleep in, bathroom was tiny, no cable for TV, etc. We left a day early because of it.

  We want our guests to have a smooth and enjoyable stay, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience you encountered. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to provide some context:
  – The central A/C is now fully repaired and working properly. It was fixed before your departure, and in the meantime, window units were added for comfort, along with an industry-standard refund for the inconvenience.
  – We offer a sleeper sofa and a futon, which are noted in the listing and shown in the photos. We understand comfort preferences can vary, and encourage guests to book a property that aligns with their needs.
  – The TVs in the unit are smart TVs with access to streaming apps, which aligns with industry standards. Cable service isn’t provided, and we don't advertise this as an amenity. The bathroom’s compact size is accurately shown in the listing photos, so expectations are clearly set ahead of time.
  The homeowner takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests. Thank you for your feedback, and we’ll continue working together to provide a positive experience for all future visitors.

• Short but sweet

  Our visit was mostly about getting a "job" done so our stay wasn't as much vacation as task-oriented. Nevertheless, the beds were comfy, the kitchen did the trick and we enjoyed using the bike. The space was a little small for a family of 4, but we really only slept there so it met our need.

  We came to Mound for the ribbon cutting on the Eli Hart Memorial Playground, and this house was right down the road. Troy was really nice. Met him on the first day, and he made sure to greet me and let me know where to find extra blankets and such. The house was smaller than expected, but pictures can make things look larger. But the amount of room we had was perfect and my family of 4 were very comfortable. Central AC is getting installed next week, but there were two window units and two fans, and once we got those set up, the house cooled down very quickly and to the point where the kids were cold. I definitely will recommend this place as well as rent again if ever needed in the future.

  Besides maneuvering some fans around to circulate the air, our stay was wonderful! Troy was great and answered promptly to our inquiries. Sweet gesture of treats there to greet us upon our arrival. Within walking distance to farmers market, grocery store, beach and a yummy ice cream shop! Provided a wonderful setting to visit my sister and the canoe was a great amentity along with the bikes which we unfortunately didn't have time to use. Thanks so much for a great experience.
