  Positives: 1. Location is very close to tons of activities. Even though it is right off a highway, it is tucked away so you can’t hear the road noise. 2. Views from the home and boathouse are gorgeous 3. Owner is very friendly and responsive 4. Lake was pretty clean. Good swimming, boating, and fishing lake 5. Beds and pillows were comfortableNegatives: 1. House could use some TLC. There were multiple things that were falling apart. Bathroom doors don’t provide much privacy and will slide open on their own. 2. Air conditioning does not distribute air evenly through the home. Some rooms are freezing while others are hot. 3. Indoor and outdoor furniture (couches and chairs) are very uncomfortable and in need of new cushions.

• Great family vacation

  This property was great! Close enough to get to city fun places, and far enough away to be a nice retreat. My 5 year old loved playing in the water and sand. We like how peaceful and serene it was. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

• Beautiful lake home, kind and responsive hosts

  We had a beautiful stay at this lovely lake home. Beautiful views, bright natural lighting, spacious well-equipped kitchen, and many comfortable seating areas inside and out. The location is ideal - private, yet close to grocery etc. . The boys were thrilled to catch fish off the dock/ paddleboard, and we gathered around the campfire roasting marshmallows, grilling, and enjoying the lush green property. The neighbors were similarly kind, offering us anything we might need. I highly recommend a stay here… a wonderful opportunity for present-moment connection with nature and family.

  I retired on 9/6/24. This was the perfect spot to enjoy two weeks of relaxation with my husband. We loved it. I read on the patio off the dining room, basked in the sun and just enjoyed every minute of it.
