  Lots of space for my family of five. Days spent out fishing, nights at the property enjoyed inside and by the fire pit Beautiful view of the lake from the loft area……fun had by all.

  The eagles nest cabin is really beautiful inside. The master bedroom with bath upstairs is very spacious. The main floor bedroom is cozy and there are also two pull out futons. We slept 8 comfortably. The kitchen is great, plenty of room to cook, full size refrigerator and all the pans, bowls, dishes that you need. The cabin also has a good selection of board games and multiple tv’s, but honestly we spent most our time out on beautiful lake Mille Lacs. It was convenient that we could dock our boat at the resort. We loved grilling, having a fire, and playing beanbags in the backyard. We also liked the close proximity to town for groceries. The owner was very responsive by phone. The only downside is the resort is right on a busy highway and you have to walk across the speeding traffic on Hwy 169 to get to the lake. (The resort obviously isn’t responsible for the crazy drivers, but just something to keep in mind with this location.)

  I rented the Eagle's Nest cabin for four nights, June 2024. I chose Glowacki's for proximity, price, and the fact that my fur baby could join us. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The fact that we could bring our girl was the biggest drawing point for me. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. that we needed even though I did bring some of my own stuff that I knew I would need. Ben (owner) was extremely nice and responded to my questions on the launch. He went out of his way to accommodate us for fishing for a few hours which was extremely thoughtful. I'm already looking at renting again when the DNR lifts Walleye restrictions so my 77 year old mother can eat her catch. There is no cleaning of fish or deep frying in the cabin so be forewarned. Since it was catch and release I brought my own fillets so the cleaning wasn't an issue and I do not deep fry in my own house so that did not bother me. Deep frying outside was a little tricky with there being no outlet on the deck that I could find. There is an outlet on the garage/shed behind the unit but I didn't have an extension cord so I used the outlet right outside the front door. The only drawback I could find was the spiral staircase. The steps are smaller so whomever stays upstairs in the loft and master bedroom should be prepared and tread lightly. One last thing, the lake and launch are short walk across Highway 169 so keep that in mind with children and watch your pet(s). I highly recommend Glowacki's and would rent from Ben again!

  My family and I came to stay at the Eagles Nest cabin, and it was so much fun! From the extremely clean and beautiful cabin, to having fun playing bags, grilling and hanging out, my trip was nothing but perfect. Ben is also awesome, anything you need he will make it happen! I had such a nice time here and I was very sad to leave..... but I look forward to staying here again. I highly recommend this resort. Also, not to mention how easy it was to make a reservation with Evolve and how much information they give you with reminders, very user friendly!
