  We had a wonderful week at this cabin, caught plenty of fish and even put a tent up in the yard overlooking the lake for the kids a few nights. Would definitely love to visit this cabin again. Owner was very helpful and checked in on everything. Thanks again!

  Overall the stay was good. More steps down to the lake and shorter dock for the family to swim on. There wasn't ans AC unit , but we were lucky with the weather not being too hot. Had a bear in the camp, so I would suggest locking up the garbage.

  -The dock's current length and the steps down to the lake are as described in the listing, but we understand your preferences and will keep them in mind for future improvements.
  -While the home doesn't have A/C, the location and typical weather conditions usually help keep the house comfortable. We're glad to hear that the weather worked out during your stay.
  -We're sorry to hear about the bear encounter. The area is known for its wildlife, so we strongly encourage guests to securely store all trash. The homeowner has repaired the window in the garage that was damaged during your stay and has reinforced instructions on proper trash storage for future guests.

  Overall for our stay the house was nice and allowed us the room we needed with 5 adults and 3 children staying in the home. Access to the lake was amazing to have and the location of the home allowed for easy walks to local establishments.

  Contacting the homes manager took some time typically to get a response.

  I would suggest that the homes listing show that it does not have an air conditioner but rather an air exchanger which doesn’t actually cool the air- the super hot humid days were incredibly difficult to be in the home even with 8+ fans running so if you are sensitive to heat I wouldn’t suggest booking during warm months.
